Jared and Heather's Baby

Merry Christmas! We enjoyed a beautiful winter's snow today in Charlotte. My mom and dad are here visiting and we have had a great time. 
The baby and I are doing great! He/She is getting bigger by the day. Jared and I are looking forward to January 24th where we will find out if we are having a boy or a girl.  We are split, Jared thinks a girl and I think a boy, so who knows! We have a 50/50 chance in being right. 
These are the weeks where I should begin to feel the baby move.  Every once in a while I think I feel movement but they are so small it's hard to know for sure. 
Here are some of the presents the baby got for Christmas.  Already getting spoiled!

        

Time is flying! I cannot believe that all of a sudden I am 15 weeks.  I know I have a lot more to go (174 to be exact) but I am in no hurry...yet.  Jared and I have had a great week of decorating the tree and getting the house ready for Christmas.  I love this time of year and I am excited to think about what Christmas will be like next year with a baby!
I am still fitting into my regular clothes.  I have a smaller collection to choose from in the pants department but overall I'm feeling great.  I am excited to go maternity shopping when my mom gets here in a couple of weeks.  Continue to pray for the baby and me.  Jared and I pray every night that God will give us a healthy baby that will grow up to love Him.

Today I am 14 weeks along! We just ended thanksgiving and thankfully I had an excuse to eat however much I wanted this year! Here is the picture of the ultrasound we got a couple of weeks ago. We were so excited to see our baby.  When the doctor first found the baby it was flipping and twirling all over the place! It is so strange that it moves that much and I don't feel it.  I cannot wait to feel the baby moving inside!
We still have to wait a couple of months before we find out if it is a boy or a girl.  Go ahead and put your votes in... you have a 50/50 chance!

If you look close, you can see the baby's head, ears, hand by the mouth, and two legs. Continue to pray for our baby to be healthy.

12 weeks is here! I am getting noticeably bigger, well at least I feel that way.  Monday is the big day where we are going to see the doctor and get our first official ultrasound.  This Friday will end my first trimester and I am suppose to get more energy as well...I am looking forward to that!
